This guide is designed to give you an insight into my work, my approach, and what you can expect when we work together.

CALM AND UNOBTRUSIVE
A calm presence and a deliberately minimal setup because the moments that matter most are the ones that only happen when no one's aware of the camera. This is a considered way of working, built on years of knowing exactly where to be, and the quiet art of noticing. You won't be directed or pulled away from your day; you'll simply move through it as it unfolds, while it's captured honestly and with care. Most couples forget I'm even there.
UNIQUE AND PERSONAL TO YOU
Because every couple is different, I think every wedding film should be completely unique and individual, reflecting your relationship, your personalities and your priorities. I take the time beforehand to understand who you are as people, and the people and the things that matter most to you.

Your wedding film isn't only for you. It's for the people who come after you - a record of those you love, the way they looked, the way they sounded, the way they laughed across a room. By not indulging the trends, I can focus on what's important and it's why your film will feel just as true in fifty years as it does the day you first watch it.

The Main Film
Nobody wants to sit through a four-hour wedding video. Instead, your 6-8 minute cinematic film distils the very best of your day into something you'll actually want to watch again and again.
The Teaser
A one-minute video clip from your wedding day, ready within three days of the wedding date. Perfect for sharing on social media (or keeping to yourself!).
A full length recording of your ceremony and speeches so nothing said on your wedding day is ever lost.

Do you have a limit on hours?
I stay as long as needed to do your day justice. I typically stay about an hour after the first dance, but this can vary based on the wedding.
Can you film both of us getting ready?
If you and your partner are getting ready at the same venue, then I can usually film you both getting ready. If you are both getting ready at different locations, I can usually only guarantee that I'll film one of you getting ready. However, if we can make it work logistically, I'm always happy to try to capture both of you. There's also the option of adding a second videographer to make sure we can cover both locations for you.
How long until I receive my films?
Each wedding requires a lot of attention to detail, and that process can take time, especially during the busy months. Your one-minute teaser will be with you within three days of the wedding, and your other films will be ready within 16 weeks.
Do you travel for weddings?
Within Great Britain, travel is included, so there are no additional costs regardless of your venue location.
Can we choose the soundtrack?
Choosing the perfect music is an important part of the creative process; the right song can make or break a wedding film. I'll always try to find a soundtrack that fits you as a couple and also fits the vibe of your wedding day. I ask that you trust me with this process. It can sometimes take me days to find a soundtrack that will draw you into the film and tie in with the visuals, the narrative, and the audio to ensure your film has maximum emotional impact.

Being invited to film someone's wedding is a privilege I never take for granted. A wedding is one of the most intimate, emotional, special days of your life, so the last thing you want is to let a stranger in on that.
By only taking on a small number of weddings each year, I can give each couple my full attention. It means that by the time your day arrives, I won't feel like a stranger at all - I'll be someone who knows your story, your people, and exactly what matters most to you.
At this stage, I suggest a call so that we can discuss your wedding plans, go over my approach to a wedding day, and get to know each other to decide if we're a good fit.
A booking fee of £500 secures your date, and ensures you’re booked in which will be deducted from the balance which is due 8 weeks before the wedding date.
