A Christmas Wedding at Tortworth Court
Helena & Amos’ Tortworth Court wedding was the perfect way to wrap up the year. Held just after Christmas, their day had everything you’d want from a winter celebration - glowing fairy lights, towering Christmas trees, and a warm, festive atmosphere that made the whole venue feel like something out of a fairytale.
Both Helena and Amos got ready at the venue - Helena in the bridal suite, Amos in the library. The morning had a quiet, steady energy, and one of the most special parts of the day came early on, when they shared a first look. It was a calm, intentional moment that felt really grounding before everything began.
The ceremony took place in the Orangery at Tortworth Court, surrounded by soft winter light, fairy lights, and two huge Christmas trees that gave the space a real sense of season. Readings from close family and friends made it feel personal and emotional - a ceremony that truly reflected who they are.
From there, the day unfolded into celebration. Singing waiters lifted the energy in the afternoon, sparklers lit up the evening, and the dance floor stayed full all night thanks to an incredible set from the Satori Band.
Helena & Amos created a day that felt festive and full of heart - relaxed, emotional, and the perfect way to bring everyone together after Christmas.

The grand architecture of the main house paired with seasonal décor creates an atmosphere that is both cosy and elegant - the perfect backdrop for a celebration filled with warmth and joy.
My Approach to Filming at Tortworth Court
As a wedding videographer, Tortworth Court offers so many beautiful contrasts to work with. The bridal suite and library provide quiet, intimate spaces for preparations - moments where anticipation and emotion build before the day unfolds. The Orangery, with its glass walls and natural light, creates a cinematic setting for the ceremony, while the grounds and gardens give endless opportunities for timeless portraits. By evening, the glow of fairy lights and the energy of the Orangery set the stage for celebration. My approach is always to blend into the background, capturing these moments as they naturally happen, so that the final film feels authentic and true to the day.
